Supporting Local Organisations

Support for kids doing it tough through Fusion Mornington Peninsula

Fusion is an Australian youth and community development organisation committed to empowering young people and families through community-driven initiatives that address real local needs.

Fusion's approach centres on four pillars ... educating through skill-building and personal development, creating welcome spaces where everyone belongs, supporting individuals and families with practical help when they need it most, and building authentic relationships that strengthen our community.

In 2024-25, the club donated $2,500 to Fusion Mornington Peninsula, for a major project.

Pack a Little Joy:  Support for traumatised kids through Hope in a Suitcase

In 2025-25 the Club donated $5,000 to purchase a suitcase for 20 children entering the foster care or out of home care system.

The organisation is run by volunteers who are passionate to show every child that they are loved and valued by their community by giving them their very own suitcase so that they have a safe and secure place to pack their belongings and take with them wherever their journey may lead.

Suitcases are filled with essential items such as toiletries, underwear, pyjamas and for younger children something to cuddle and encourage creativity to provide a distraction away from their turmoil of going into foster care.
