Rotary Rosebud-Rye has been a proud Platinum Sponsor of the Annual Peninsula Film Festival since inception.  It is a free film festival with the largest viewing audience in Victoria. 

In 2026, the Festival Launch was held at Peninsula Cinema on Friday 9th January, the Outdoor Short Film Festival held on the Rosebud Village Green on Saturday 10th January, and on Sunday 11th January a Film Making Workshop was held at Peninsula Cinema.

As a sponsor, the Club presents one of the awards each year, and Rotary is promoted through various activities on site and in an advertisement on the big screen. 

The Festival features local actors, directors and producers who have made local short films (under 15 minutes), showcasing the terrific talent and skills in our region.
